Romans 12:14-21

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. ¹⁵ Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. ¹⁶ Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
¹⁷ Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. ¹⁸ If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. ¹⁹ Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. ²⁰ Therefore

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

²¹ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

 

 

We are walking around our world today persecuting everything we see and hear.  We have something to say about all situations unaware of the biblical attack it places upon our life.  Bless those who persecute you verse 1 says.  God is out to train our hearts, minds, deeds and actions in the context of righteousness and love that if we don't slow down and become aware of our spiritual world we live in our dreams and goals are going to disintegrate before us.  We will be left in a despairing state of mind that won't be good for God, ourselves, or anyone else.  Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.  This can only happen when we are training and focusing our cares on others more than ourselves.  Be of the same mind toward one another.  Well how can we do that? if we don't have the same Father raising us.  God's word is the number one word in the land and until we give it first precedence over our every word and move we will continue to wrongly judge one another as a result of our own lack of biblical thinking.  Our bible tells us how to think, act, and react to the attacks that satan uses on us to destroy our spirits.  Most minds today are completely preoccupied with trying to receive wealth, some minds striving for peace of mind, others are just hoping to stay in the race.  God tells us the race is not to the quick or swift.  We must train in the word of God to unlock the mystery of His blessings.  The world lies under the sway of satan, so to overcome the daily attacks we must hand our worries over to God, then suit up and show up to our bibles each day to take on the world.

Blessings to all, pray you're winning the fight. Our local library was closed yesterday and we let that be the reason why we delayed the blog until today. We hope today's blog will lift and encourage you to take on the world. We love you and pray many blessings over your lives.

Love Your Members

Romans 12:4-13


For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, ⁵ so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. ⁶ Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; ⁷ or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; ⁸ he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
⁹ Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. ¹⁰ Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; ¹¹ not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; ¹² rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; ¹³ distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.




Understanding our bibles with total belief in the words are to open our minds to its truth:  "As we have many members in one body, but all our members do not have the same function."  This scripture in verse 4 gives reference to our entire body.  Because we know this to be true about our bodies frame, so we begin to train the mind according to what our scriptures tell us about ourselves, not letting man continue to dissect our body to determine its functions, limits, and healings.  The scripture and parable also tells us that all our members are to be serving one another and caring for one another.  All we do, think and say to one another should always be in agreement and under the context of biblical doctrine.  Then we are to express these doctrines through our gifts that we may or may not be using to edify Christ at this time.  We must line up to scripture not let it line up to us, deceiving ourselves.  "Let our love be without hypocrisy.  Abhor what is evil.  Cling to what is good"  verse 9 states.  Everything that looks good, is not always good for us.  We let God determine what is good and not good for us by reading and establishing a son or daughter relationship with Him.  Verse 10 says "Be kind and affectionate to one another with brotherly love."  This love is to be floating into the atmosphere every time we encounter another human being.  Why? because it appeals to God and draws Him closer to us.  Then our blessings begin to be seen more constantly.  When we are training and working this spirit in our every encounter.  Always remember, love is our ultimate goal.  God is love, and everything that we want and might not want will draw to it.  Love your members.

Lay It Aside

1 Peter 2:1-8


Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, ² as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,  ³ if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
⁴ Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, ⁵ you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,

“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

⁷ Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,

“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”

⁸ and

“A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”

They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

Only God can help us lay aside all the snares and strong holds that bind us.  We have to be out on a real quest to find our Father God.  All our dirty habits must cease and desist in our lives today.  Our ancestors couldn't get it back then, and we let our money and greed stop us from reaching God today.  Peter goes on to say in verses 2 and 3 that we become as newborn babes desiring the pure milk of the word, that we may grow thereby if we indeed have tasted that the Lord is gracious.  God is here and supplies enough grace to conquer all our trials.  However, if we feel that we can't humble ourselves and back away from our hum drum lives, He cannot assist us correctly in our fight to reach Him.  We can't walk and talk as our world does and then say Hallelujah, Amen believing He's receiving honor.  He honors truth and justice.  We must admit we are simple to the word of God so He can nourish us correctly, coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious.  We have been chosen by God and He should be our only reason for rising each day.  He wants to give us peace of mind.   He is gracious, loving, and caring, and we must also become that in our journey.  We must take on the mind of Christ each day as we live and breath our dreams to life.  Our spiritual man is much more powerful than our fleshly man.  However, if we don't let the truth of God's word build us into the holy vessels He says we are, we will continue to war within ourselves and with each other.  Lay it aside and run to God.

May We Die To Live

Job 19


Then Job answered and said:

² “How long will you torment my soul,
And break me in pieces with words?
³ These ten times you have reproached me;
You are not ashamed that you have wronged me.^[a]
4 And if indeed I have erred,
My error remains with me.
⁵ If indeed you exalt yourselves against me,
And plead my disgrace against me,
⁶ Know then that God has wronged me,
And has surrounded me with His net.

⁷ “If I cry out concerning wrong, I am not heard.
If I cry aloud, there is no justice.
⁸ He has fenced up my way, so that I cannot pass;
And He has set darkness in my paths.
⁹ He has stripped me of my glory,
And taken the crown from my head.
¹⁰ He breaks me down on every side,
And I am gone;
My hope He has uprooted like a tree.
¹¹ He has also kindled His wrath against me,
And He counts me as one of His enemies.
¹² His troops come together
And build up their road against me;
They encamp all around my tent.

¹³ “He has removed my brothers far from me,
And my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.
¹⁴ My relatives have failed,
And my close friends have forgotten me.
¹⁵ Those who dwell in my house, and my maidservants,
Count me as a stranger;
I am an alien in their sight.
¹⁶ I call my servant, but he gives no answer;
I beg him with my mouth.
¹⁷ My breath is offensive to my wife,
And I am repulsive to the children of my own body.
¹⁸ Even young children despise me;
I arise, and they speak against me.
¹⁹ All my close friends abhor me,
And those whom I love have turned against me.
²⁰ My bone clings to my skin and to my flesh,
And I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.

²¹ “Have pity on me, have pity on me, O you my friends,
For the hand of God has struck me!
²² Why do you persecute me as God does,
And are not satisfied with my flesh?

²³ “Oh, that my words were written!
Oh, that they were inscribed in a book!
²⁴ That they were engraved on a rock
With an iron pen and lead, forever!
²⁵ For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;
²⁶ And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God,
²⁷ Whom I shall see for myself,
And my eyes shall behold, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!
²⁸ If you should say, ‘How shall we persecute him?’—
Since the root of the matter is found in me,
²⁹ Be afraid of the sword for yourselves;
For wrath brings the punishment of the sword,
That you may know there is a judgment.”

Job understands the chastening of our Lord.  God wants us humble and willing, that every part of our being is serving Him.  He has made us from dust to serve Him, and honor Him.  He has become the chief cornerstone and a great stumbling block, a rock of offense to all who are disobedient to the word to which we were appointed, (1 Peter 2:7-8).  Job took on verbal and mental abuse like no other from his people.  Because He knew within his heart God was there with him.  Christ says, as He has suffered, we must suffer.  We must understand all the love, smiles, charity, healing, and abuse our Lord went through to give us everlasting peace, a people made from dust.  God demands order and love in His kingdom, a kingdom He built for us to take dominion over.  It had gotten to the point that even Job's servants ignored him.  How heartless can one be?  When you turn against your own benefactor blatantly and still take his money for your horrible services.  And Job wouldn't lash back, dying daily for his God.  But still no one would turn to God.  Though, Job got his wish.  When he asked in verse 23 that if only his words be written, inscribed in a book written with an iron pen so all may know our God lives and breathes this day that we can all see heaven.  We must yearn for God deep from within the depths of our hearts, then want to sacrifice the ultimate sacrifice of your life by coming out of this world and out of its thinking.  May we die to live.

Sacrifice For Life

Romans 12:1-3

 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. ² And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
³ For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.


We are in a battle within our minds.  We ask ourselves should we do this?  or should we do that?  Our Lord tells us we've been bought at a price (His blood) and we no longer belong to ourselves.  In verse 1 He says, that we ought to present our "bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which" should be our reasonable service in serving Him.  Our spirits are what move our fleshly body that we live in today, and the demonic realm knows this.  So they speak to our untrained spirit minds constantly hoping we will do all the things that go against God's word and we do.  God states we don't fight against flesh and blood, but the spirits that move around us in the unknown.  God asks us, to be transformed by the renewing of our minds through His word and commands, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  When we think, believe, and walk the word of God, we will see the word manifest around us, proving every man a liar and God's word truth.  God speaks of extraordinary events happening in our ancestors lives long ago.  Now it's up to us to manifest our Angels and God before our eyes, seek His word and love so intently that visions, dreams, goals, and aspirations for what God tells us we can have will mount up on the inside of us launching us straight to our inheritances.  But in verse 3 the bible tells us to not think of ourselves more highly than we ought.  We can't think we're better than Jesus Christ who came to serve, and not be served.  We are moving around one another in a spirit of competition that's always trying to out do the next man.  We compare ourselves among ourselves on a constant basis.  God says He has given each of us a measure of faith.  Now it is up to us to use it.  Stir it up with love and sacrifice for life.

Inheritance

Genesis 15:1-6


After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
² But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” ³ Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”
⁴ And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” ⁵ Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”
⁶ And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.




 Our God wants to give us a great inheritance, only we cannot be afraid to clean up our minds and actions to righteousness.  A righteous spirit can only come from our Lord.  The things God asks and commands are what leads us into righteousness.  We cannot do this on our own.  God asks us to not be afraid.  He will be our shield.  This means as we walk each day trying to please God and not man, we are not to be bothered by their looks, stares, rudeness, and ignorance that will come our way as we seek righteousness and our inheritance.  God says in His word to not grow weary in doing good.  He's saying our words and deeds to one another must be tested and tried.  This is to form resilience and perfect character within us.  Do all things without complaining He asks.  Be angry but do not sin.  Do not compare ourselves among ourselves.  God has a litany of things He requires us to train in.  He requires us to become righteous human beings that He can be pleased with, and that others can come to respect because of His truth and the love we have for Him.  God wants to build true sincere characters out of us so that we will always consider the next human as a brother or sister, reaping great rewards by doing so.  However, we first must believe and have faith as Abraham did in the word of God to begin our journey to righteousness.  Believe me it is not hard and God's truth will overwhelm you with joy.  Look into life's reality and receive your inheritance.
