Put On Christ

Joel 2:14-17

"Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him—
A grain offering and a drink offering
For the Lord your God?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion,
Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;
16 Gather the people,
Sanctify the congregation,
Assemble the elders,
Gather the children and nursing babes;
Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber,
And the bride from her dressing room.
17 Let the priests, who minister to the Lord,
Weep between the porch and the altar;
Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord,
And do not give Your heritage to reproach,
That the nations should rule over them.
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?"

God is a good God, and wants to bless us tremendously.  Though, we must know and believe, there are demons in our midst.  Demons whose missions are to kill and destroy us.  Mind, body, and soul.  Verse 16 says, "Gather the people, (Sanctify) the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room." We are to come together as a people.  Sanctify ourselves through the Word of God, and build our lands.  Then we'll give each other the strength to fight the devil.  (John 17:15-17)  "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. (Sanctify) them by Your truth. (Your word is truth)."  A truth that will set us free and establish us as a family.  A conscience decision must be made to follow our Lord.  Then stand on every word and promise He said.  That we may be blessed and receive power and knowledge, to outwit the enemy and be given our inheritances.  Verse 17 says, " Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God.'  Our world is not weeping correctly, by the attacks and trickery of the enemy.  We're looking at the things we can see.  Being pulverized by their outcomes.  God is here.  He will not come down and put an end to this madness.  We have been given dominion over our earth and we must use it.  (Psalms 8:6)  "You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet."(Colossians 2:15-23)  " Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths  which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.  Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,  and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the (world), why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle, ” which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh." Put on Christ.

(1Corinthians 2:16)  "For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ."

Love Him Sincerely

Joel 2:12-13

"Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
13 So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm."

I did a lot of crying under my pillow, every time I started a new prison term.  I just couldn't figure out why me?  My mother and I had two hundred thousand cash money, a lot of material gain.  And we could have made it in this cruel world.  I also, wasn't receiving any visits from my family.  However, the light from the Word of God, would explain all that later.  Then after being busted, I determined for the last time 6-17-2003.  I gave God my everything mind, body, and soul.  I prayed, I fasted, and went to church regularly.  I even held a prayer circle each night, to keep giving God His glory.  I woke up with the Trinity on my mind, and slept with Them on my mind.  I had refused to fail again in life.  Becoming another statistic, who fell through the cracks in society.  God was here, I believed that.  So it would be up to He and I, for me to survive.  I knew He had requirements and commands.  I also had requirements for living life.  First and foremost free.  Free from every yoke and snare that bound me.  That I might be able to praise God and have life, even life more abundantly.  It was only by reading in His Word.  That I understood His plan for my life was bigger then my plan.  It also made sense that if I wanted my needs met.  He would also have to have His needs met.  Verse 13 says, "So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm."  We cannot buy God.  The only thing He has for sale is His Heart.  Which will cost us ours.  Fair exchange is not robbery.  He's gracious and kind.  Slow to anger and won't harm us.  If we'll love Him sincerely.

(Genesis 6:6)  " And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart."

(Matthew 6:21)  " For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Blessings to all who treasure God from the heart,

Tremble

Joel 2:10-11

"The earth quakes before them,
The heavens tremble;
The sun and moon grow dark,
And the stars diminish their brightness.
11 The Lord gives voice before His army,
For His camp is very great;
For strong is the One who executes His word.
For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible;
Who can endure it?"

I remember as a child growing up, how beautiful the nights were.  When I looked up to the heavens and saw hundreds of stars lighting up the night.  Life I thought was great.  And knew there had to be a God up there, shining down His love on me.  But as I grew older, and began to seek Him.  Things only seem to get darker, the more I searched.  However, the Word of God was revealing a light, to why I was in so much darkness.  It was the people and the sins we were covering.  (Psalms 27:5-8)  "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.  And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.  Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek."  Now that I've found our Lord.  When I look to the skies, for those bright shining stars.  God reveals very few if any sometimes.  Though, we haven't had any earthquakes lately.  And Lord knows I pray we don't.  The moon and sun still shine bright.  But I know with out doubt, God is not happy.  He is not happy with our interactions towards one another, as brothers and sisters.  His children.  Verse 11 says, "The Lord gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?"  God is on a mission, to bring peace to His world.  We who agree with this mission, execute it.  That God and His Son's Word, may not go in vain.  Tremble.

(Psalms 96:9-10)  "Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously."

Give The Word A Try

Joel 2:6-9

"Before them the people writhe in pain;
All faces are drained of color.
They run like mighty men,
They climb the wall like men of war;
Every one marches in formation,
And they do not break ranks.
They do not push one another;
Every one marches in his own column.
Though they lunge between the weapons,
They are not cut down.
They run to and fro in the city,
They run on the wall;
They climb into the houses,
They enter at the windows like a thief."

The pain and turmoil I see in the eyes and lives of our world today.  I refused to let anyone or anything, break my heart.  I refused to be angry at life, or remain in a state of depression from life.  Which is why I picked up my bible and began to read in 1995.  I just couldn't be cheated out of life.  I knew it was to much I wanted.  And many places I dreamed of traveling, to just settle.  I also believed, if I had it once, I could have it again.  And no peer or family would stop me.  Because I wanted us all happy and at peace.  However, I didn't see them seeking this, and things began to get scary.  Them not understanding the real truth and goal in life was love.  But I pressed on, in the name of Jesus Christ.  Believing in my heart, He was guiding my every step and rest-stop.  I had too.  Because I was also aiming for Heaven.  Verse 7 says, "They run like mighty men, They climb the wall like men of war;
Every one marches in formation, And they do not break ranks."  (Matthew 11:12)  " And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force."  We have to stand for what God stands for and commands.  Not what our world deems appropriate, for living standards.  We're to stand for righteousness and justice for all.  Believing, love, peace, and happiness is normal.  And lying, stealing, cheating, and back-biting one another is a sin.  This is how we go after our inheritances.  Receiving profits and rewards from righteous gain.  (James 1:16-20)  " Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.  Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures."  Verse 8 says, " They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, They are not cut down."  When you believe the Word of God is true.  Knowing daily that you're putting all your faith and work into it, to make it manifest around you.  God opening and closing doors by His grace.  You'll do just about anything to set yourself and others free.  Though, society may cut us down.  We stand on the Word of God.  Until all is at peace.  Give the word a try.

(Psalms 119:105-106)  "Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. I have sworn and confirmed That I will keep Your righteous judgments."

Blessings to all as we glide our way into Heaven,

Crucify The Enemy

Joel 2:1-5

"Blow the trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm in My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble;
For the day of the Lord is coming,
For it is at hand:
A day of darkness and gloominess,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,
Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains.
A people come, great and strong,
The like of whom has never been;
Nor will there ever be any such after them,
Even for many successive generations.
A fire devours before them,
And behind them a flame burns;
The land is like the Garden of Eden before them,
And behind them a desolate wilderness;
Surely nothing shall escape them.
Their appearance is like the appearance of horses;
And like swift steeds, so they run.
With a noise like chariots
Over mountaintops they leap,
Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble,
Like a strong people set in battle array."

Our world is trembling today.  But it is not because we fear the Lord.  It is because we've given satan to much territory, in our lives, that we fear each other.  If our world lays under the sway of satan.  And God says, He will rejoice in destroying all who run from Him.  We now have two armies coming against us from all sides.  Meaning, we can't win.  Are you in a place today, where you feel, you can't win from loosing?  Nothing seems to be turning out as planned?  And you can't grab a peace of mind, no matter what you do?  Then it's time to bow down, and lift up the awesome God of our world.  It's only One and He loves us dearly.  Why not love Him back, mind, body, and soul?  Verse 2 says, "A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations."  If you feel you have the faith, and strength to fight for true life.  Go after the inheritance Abraham left us.  And come to the mighty God and His Son.  Who says, They will never leave us nor forsake us.  Verse 3 says, "A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them."  God says in His Word, Jesus has our front and He is guarding our backs.  As we press for new life, and an incorruptible inheritance.  Surely, nothing shall escape us.  Because we continue in His Word.  And His Word is light and a lamp to our feet.  Revealing all darkness around us.  Giving us power to outwit His enemy, and keep all demons under our feet.  Verses 4-5 says, "Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run. With a noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array."  Crucify the enemy.

(Luke 10:19-20)  "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

Blessings to all who kills the enemy's attacks,
