Grace Hope And Mercy

1 Peter 1: 3-25

 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever 24 because
“All flesh is as grass,
And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers,
And its flower falls away,
25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.”
Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Great mercy has been given us, to know, love and edify the Great God of our universe Jesus Christ.  This journey and ordained life from God has not been made hard.  1 Corinthians 10:12-13 says, “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!  No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.  And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”  Don’t, let the extravagances of our world trip you up.  Because our reward in the end will far outweigh Bill Gates money and rockets that keep failing to get to the Heavens in search of the real God who is standing right next to us.  We must build our faith in God’s word like no other to obtain this treasure.  We must step out of the box in hope of all the promises, visions, and wonders God wants to display to us.   And believe that His thoughts are not our thoughts nor our ways His ways.  Most of us can’t design a house not to mention a world full of ancient secrets God wants to share.  We’ve been formed from dust and the breath of life has been blown into our beings to serve God in the most joyful, delightful way our minds can perceive.  We are to prove to Him that our love is coming straight from the heart to pass His tests and trials and be deemed worthy of being called His children.  Our Lord and God are here.  And when He sees you are seeking Him with all your heart, mind, and every bit of strength you have, loving others as you love yourself.  He will come down as John 14:23 says and light up your life with His and Father God’s presence making your home their home.  This will blow your mind beyond belief.  And all that the bible says will come true.  Even our angels will reveal themselves, because they long to spend eternity with God, our Lord and us.  Holiness can be put on as we take on this belief in our hearts.  Our world confuses this for pride and arrogance which God hates.  Separating themselves from God’s children and God Himself.  Chosen before the creation of our world to save us in a time of need, Gods back-up plan if all failed is our King Jesus Christ. He sits and reigns this day high above the heavens dreaming of that moment when you will invite Him into your heart and home.  Through His mighty sacrifice is why we believe and have hope, grace and mercy in our hearts to serve Him as King.

Thank you Lord for your hope, grace, and mercy May we now serve you with it lovingly,

Shine Your Light

Mark 4: 21-34

Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? 22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. 23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”
24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
30 Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? 31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; 32 but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”
33 And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it. 34 But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.
God’s words are true. But if we’re not seeking the path to righteousness we’ll only be blindsided when His truth comes to light in our lives. We must rise above the world’s thoughts and ways of doing things to be a light for God. God says, there is nothing hidden that will not come to light. Which is why we see everyone being exposed from the White House on down. Our hidden secrets will also come to light if not dealt with. However, to draw life’s truth out, we must be in our bibles learning and watching God’s word manifest. I never thought my mother stole my inheritance left to me by my father. I just assumed it was foolishly spent. But, as time moved on and growth in my mother never happened, I could see by reading my bible each day something was wrong. The more I loved, as God would have us to do, the more evil she became in her behavior. God says let the tares and the wheat grow up together, then separate them at harvest. (Matthew 13: 24-29) “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” My mother was tearing my spirit apart with her ways. God says in Proverbs it becomes like a sport to them. When you’re in the word of God and obeying His commands and laws, you are going to feel as if the whole world is against you. Also, in Proverbs it says that they do not sleep until they make someone sin. The flesh must be fed, which is why God asks us to kill it. He that is in us, is stronger than he who is in the world. Our minds and hearts must be committed to God. We must open them to God in the spirit and observe the truth from His word. We are His vessels, here to expose and separate ourselves from darkness. Then He says more will be given us. Whoever doesn’t have the word of God, even what they have will be taken. We are in a kingdom that God has blessed. A kingdom that will increase us by our words and obedience to His words. God tells us to plant our mustard seed of faith in the word and see if it doesn’t grow beyond compare. Blessings upon blessings are what God wants to give us. Let God explain everything to you in how His universe operates. Then shine your light for all the world to see. (Colossians 1:28) “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.

Blessings to all as we let our lights shine for God,

The Mystery

Mark 4: 10-20

 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. 11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, 12 so that
‘Seeing they may see and not perceive,
And hearing they may hear and not understand;
Lest they should turn,
And their sins be forgiven them.’”
13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14 The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

If we haven’t recognized by now, we should have.  We that are in this world, could not have been ordained to this earth to live in misery.  We could not have been little children, most of us growing up in joy and peace, then it all just dwindled away by someone’s or our mistake.  The mystery to our world is locked in our bible and to unlock it we have to want to turn from our selfish ways, come with a willing heart of faith, then sit down and believe every word it says, and do them.  We were to be trained in our bibles as innocent children and remain innocent in the word of God as it grew us up into mature adults in strength to conquer God’s mission and bless us.  We are to always approach Father God as His child.  Mark 10:15 explains, “ Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.”  Children are innocent and simple, making them easy to train.  Psalms 19: 7 “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;”  We cannot become too wise for our own good, it only separates us from God’s goodness and we are in His kingdom, not our own.  He goes on to say in verses 8 – 11 what can happen when we’ve unlocked the mystery to this kingdom and God’s heart:
“The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.”
There is an inheritance waiting on us, but until we open up our eyes and hearts to God and His word, we will keep on fighting the wind in hopes of a better life.  Sowing and reaping is all God wants us to do, in everything we say and do, so He can bless us.  I always believed God was here, and I believed He didn’t want me sad and miserable by the mistakes I was watching my family, friends, and the world make.  I did three more terms in prison because I was putting more faith in the people around me to push me into my destiny, instead of God.  God says if I be for you, who can come against you.  In 2005 on my way back to prison for the fourth time after giving myself to our God in 1995, I found a book in the prison chapel called Faith to faith by Ken and Gloria Copeland and knew that was what I needed, more faith in Father God to produce, because man was only producing pain in my life.  Jeremiah 17: 5 states, “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.”   I’ve unlocked the mystery to God’s heart and kingdom and it is love.  Love for Him and His children, and our world.   You also can plant love for the word of God and solve the mystery.

Psalms 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Blessings all as your faith and love unlock the Kingdom of God,

Be Wise

Psalms 2

Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”
“I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”
10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
12  Kiss the Son, lest  He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Generation after generation our world will only get worse if we keep on believing we can figure out our turmoil in the natural.  We pass thoughts and theories to each generation of children with no biblical roots and only leave them in dismay when they believe their thought was the next solution to change or peace.  Our only solution is God.  We can’t keep warring and fighting one another when God says we’re all His children.  So He must chastise us by our behavior, leaving us wondering, ‘why me?’  Our world is looking for peace, and coming up with all kinds of outlandish ways to achieve it.  God is the one who orchestrates peace in His kingdom.  So if we’re not looking to receive it from Him, our world will only continue spinning its wheels in hope of another man made solution.  God tells us in Jeremiah whoever puts their trust in man is cursed.  So think of how much trust we have put in man and how much trust we have put in God and ask ourselves why our world looks the way it does today.  God wants to see joy in our hearts and love in our actions for what Jesus Christ has done for us, Read Deuteronomy 28:47-48.  The signs are all around us, we are not to make money, jobs, cars, businesses, people or any other thing our Gods.  Nothing is to take our hearts and minds away from God and His Son.  The king has risen and is sitting at the right hand of God until He makes all His enemies His footstool.  Live, breath, love, and walk in the truth.  1 Corinthians 15: 58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”  Be wise.

Blessings to all as we let wisdom from God brings us peace,

Blessed

Psalms 1

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
    Nor stands in the path of sinners,
    Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
    Planted by the rivers of water,
    That brings forth its fruit in its season,
    Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Do you wonder why things are just not working out for you?  Have you become discouraged, daunted, and stagnated in your journey through our world?  Well it is because were trying to do everything our way, instead of God’s way.  God has predestined for us a lives that are to be filled with joy, love, peace, and wealth as we walk each day with Him.  We are not to interact with ungodly people, no matter how enticing they may be.
1 Corinthians 15: 33-34 “Do not be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits.’  Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God.  I speak this to your shame.”  God asks us to give up our worldly lives, to find our ordained life.  He says, whoever is ashamed of Him, He will also be ashamed of them, meaning our missions will not turn out as we hoped and planned.  He says, He is the vine and we are His branches, and without Him we can do nothing.  God is a God of justice and righteousness.  He says, if we say we fellowship with Him, but are not standing as He commands, we lie to ourselves and others.  The only way our bibles can come to life is if we meditate on His word, delight ourselves in His promises and encourage ourselves to pick up our crosses and launch out in faith.  God states, He has released us among snakes, scorpions, and vipers.  So if we are not trained in our word, we will not know how to love them nor interact with them, to move forward in our journey.  We don’t determine our seasons for harvest, God does.  He says, our steps have been ordered by the Lord, so how can a man know his way.  We walk in blindness each day unaware of what attack we may encounter.  However, if trained in the word of God we can know how to embrace the attack through love to receive our blessing.  Brothers and sisters are perishing today by lack of knowledge, mind, body and spirit.  Come to the throne of God all who are tired and dismayed and be blessed.

Blessings to all as we become blessed in God’s knowledge,

Let Everyone Say I Love You

Ephesians 4

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says:
“When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.”
(Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. 26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Our bible is to unite us as one in love.  (1 Timothy 1: 5) “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.”  We cannot do this on our own, if we could our whole world would walk in peace.  We are up against a mighty force, when we do the things we don’t want to do or say, and do, then the things we know we should be doing or saying, we don’t do (Romans 7:19).  So the word of God is our only solution.  Our calling is to walk in love and do everything in the spirit of love.  God commands all of His fruits and gifts are to be operating in our interaction between Him and ourselves in love.  Every ligament in our being, Father says, are to be oozing love to move Him on the scene.  A calling and a hope from the Heavens has been placed upon our lives, so hope from a cloud of witnesses and every other spirit God is in love with, all anticipate our winning this victory.  We must believe there’s a man greater than our world and His name is Jesus Christ, great enough to love us in every situation as He asks us to do with one another.  (Matthew 28: 18-20) “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”  Jesus blesses us royally when all of His commands, statues, and oracles are met and walked out in faith.  Christ came down and rose back into the Heavens so we could live in this kingdom in peace and love, giving glory and honor to the one who has set us free by love, Him.  We are to equip each other in the word of God.  We’re so far off the mark right now that every crafty, cunning, deceitful trickery thing that could be thought of is working in our spirits today.  Love is the command, and we are to train our spirits in it to receive the type of kingdom blessings we are praying and hoping for.  We are members of one another God’s word says, and we’re only using our gifts to edify self.  Let’s stop and pause, then tell someone today I love you.  2 Timothy 1: 13-14 “Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.  That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.”

Blessings always as we walk in the spirit of love,

Pride Can Kill

Psalms 49

Hear this, all peoples;
Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,
Both low and high,
Rich and poor together.
My mouth shall speak wisdom,
And the meditation of my heart shall give understanding.
I will incline my ear to a proverb;
I will disclose my dark saying on the harp.
Why should I fear in the days of evil,
When the iniquity at my heels surrounds me?
Those who trust in their wealth
And boast in the multitude of their riches,
None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
Nor give to God a ransom for him—
For the redemption of their souls is costly,
And it shall cease forever—
That he should continue to live eternally,
And not see the Pit.
10 For he sees wise men die;
Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish,
And leave their wealth to others.
11 Their inner thought is that their houses will last forever,
Their dwelling places to all generations;
They call their lands after their own names.
12 Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain;
He is like the beasts that perish.
13 This is the way of those who are foolish,
And of their posterity who approve their sayings. Selah
14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave;
Death shall feed on them;
The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning;
And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.
15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave,
For He shall receive me. Selah
16 Do not be afraid when one becomes rich,
When the glory of his house is increased;
17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away;
His glory shall not descend after him.
18 Though while he lives he blesses himself
(For men will praise you when you do well for yourself),
19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers;
They shall never see light.
20 A man who is in honor, yet does not understand,
Is like the beasts that perish.

I can only tell you rich man poor man that our God lives and breathes today.  He wishes that none should perish but all have everlasting life.  Our bible is not some fairy tale though it is a dream come true.  But you will never unlock this mystery to paradise until you turn from our worlds thinking and step into the light.  I grew up around middle and upper class people and my mother and I lived extravagantly.  But the bible played no part in our life, in spite of how good people thought she and I were, by the material assets we surrounded ourselves with.  I watched my mother’s pride in herself make a mockery of the bible and our lives with what little common sense she had but I still loved her.  Her actions sent me down roads I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.  Then at 31 years of age I had enough and asked the Lord into my life and to please give me my comfort and peace back.  And I would love Him and honor Him for the rest of my life.  People, only true love for God and wanting to please Him instead of ourselves will unlock the treasures, peace, health, and blessings into our lives.  This is unordinary supernatural powers we are dealing with here.  So God tells us in His word our best day can’t beat His worst.  No money, power, crying or praying that is not sincere will bring us this blessing today and life everlasting in Eternity.  Only true, rock solid, unending love for God and His son will open the heavens and rain down the blessings into our lives.  Hebrews 10: 26-31 says “For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”  (Hebrews 12: 25-29) “See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.  28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.”  God says those who will humble themselves He will exalt, but those who exalt themselves He must humble.  (Proverbs 16:18)  Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.  Don’t let your pride kill you.

Blessings to all as we lay down our pride and love the King,

Vincent Young, Christian Analyst.
