Today's Times

                                                                                2 Timothy 3:1-9

You must understand this, that in the last days distressing times will come.  2 For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,  3 inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, brutes, haters of good,  4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,  5 holding to the outward form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid them!  6 For among them are those who make their way into households and captivate silly women, overwhelmed by their sins and swayed by all kinds of desires,  7 who are always being instructed and can never arrive at a knowledge of the truth.  8 As Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these people, of corrupt mind and counterfeit faith, also oppose the truth.  9 But they will not make much progress, because, as in the case of those two men, their folly will become plain to everyone.

Perilous times, we see it and hear about it daily in some form or fashion.   We have been warring since the beginning of time and warring within ourselves, family and communities far too long.  Epidemic after epidemic, plague after plagues and they will continue until we stop them with the power of God’s word.  These are generational curses upon us and curses we bring upon ourselves when not adhering to the word of God.  Money, cars, houses sex and jobs have blinded us.   Parents, siblings, family members and outsiders have scorned us.  But there is a cure, a powerful cure and it comes from our brother the King. And our Father who birthed Him and raised Him, God.  We cannot continue to work out our own plans, missions and goals that are not lined up with the will of God.  Believing we are succeeding when we know spiritually inside there’s something wrong, which is a disconnection from the vine, Father God who says without me you can do nothing.  So we’re racing faster and faster thinking we are going to outsmart God and satan when in actuality you are running with the enemy the entire time.  The only way to attack your problems and dreams is to attack the word of God then move in to conquer your ordained inheritance.  Today’s times, change them with the word of God.

Blessings always to you
