Psalms 11
In the Lord I put my trust;
How can you say to my soul,
“Flee as a bird to your mountain”?
2 For look! The wicked bend their bow,
They make ready their arrow on the string,
That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?
4 The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord’s throne is in heaven;
His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men.
5 The Lord tests the righteous,
But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals;
Fire and brimstone and a burning wind
Shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the Lord is righteous,
He loves righteousness;
His countenance beholds the upright.
God says He has released His children
among snakes, scorpions, and vipers, demonic spirits all around us speaking
lies, threats, and violence into our spirits.
So He asks us to choose whom we will serve, either Him or Satan and his
posse. When we are not reading our
Bibles and searching out God’s mission for our lives, we are open to demonic
attacks on our minds and spirits, giving Satan authority to dismantle God’s
plan for our lives. Then we begin to do all the things that God asks us not to
do and wonder why we’re not being blessed.
For example, comparing ourselves among ourselves, opening up ourselves
to pride, arrogance, and ego, which God hates.
Then our words change and our actions upon our brothers, sisters, and
family change, leaving all hell to break loose.
God asks us to not to interfere with His work. If we're not going to
help our brothers and sisters seek true freedom in our Lord then we are to step
back and keep our opinions to ourselves, if they are not Biblically aligned to
assist. Relationships and families are
being destroyed today because of selfish, self-righteous thoughts we have, and
have placed upon one another. So, until
we clean up our minds, actions, and spirits to the righteousness of God we will
continue to see unrighteousness everywhere we go. Let your faith guide you into righteousness
and be blessed by God.
Bless faith in righteousness forever to all,
