Because you disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
27 When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
28 “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
29 Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord"
God tells bondservants to obey their masters, and masters, to teach and respect their bondservants, because they also answer to Him. Our world has taken matters into their own hands, based upon world knowledge and their incomes, making an mockery of God's word and earth. (Matthew 16:26) "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" We will answer and jump through hoops for people in positions, but not for God, Who has placed them there. God says in His word, they will leverage us off by their lack of wisdom and knowledge that comes from His word. God says in verses 25-26, Because of our actions and refusing to embrace His chastisements and rebukes, He will laugh at us in our calamity. (Deuteronomy 28:47-48,63) "Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you. And it shall be, that just as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess." God's blood runs through us, and we belong to Him, weather we embrace it or not. He sets the standards and commands over His lands, as we set guidelines over our possessions. If we are not building and running our lives off of these commands, confusion will come and God will send it. The Lord has the last word in all satan throws at us. If we are not drawing near to God as loving children draw near to their parents, God and His host of witnesses will handle us accordingly. Take refuge and fear the Lord.
(Leviticus 25:17) " Therefore you shall not oppress one another, but you shall fear your God; for I am the Lord your God."
(Exodus 18:21-23) "Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 22 And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they themselves shall judge. So it will be easier for you, for they will bear the burden with you. 23 If you do this thing, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all this people will also go to their place in peace.”
