Turn To God

Proverbs 1:30-33

"They would have none of my counsel
And despised my every rebuke.
31 Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way,
And be filled to the full with their own fancies.
32 For the turning away of the simple will slay them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

God says, if we sow to our flesh we will reap corruption, but if we sow to our spirit everlasting life.  Ask yourself today, do you feel as if life has dealt you a bad hand, and misery is all around, or do you see yourself spiritually content, knowing God is here, and He is moving you from glory to glory into everlasting life?  Many of us here on earth really believe we are serving God, though, turmoil seems to be at every corner.  This is happening because we are not serving God with our  whole heart, mind, and soul.  Our world is sitting the way it is today, and for many decades, because we are working out our own lives and situations based on man's theory and not God's.  Verse 31 says, Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies.  Society today is over weight, over sexed, and over intelligent, feeding themselves more and more, for lack of better things to do, like reading their bibles.  We eat, drink, shop, and learn when we're happy or sad.  We are to assume our positions as soldiers for Christ, ambassadors, for the Most High.  We are being tossed to and fro with every type of doctrine under the sun, and the end results is more depression.  Turning a blind eye to the gospel, poor, and needy, even family members, is an attempt to fulfill the flesh.  God says in verse 32, "For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them."  We are destroying one another and perishing from the lack of knowledge of the word of God.  God is sending us all sorts of signs to get us to come to Him, but we insist on letting man determine our futures and not God.  Verse 33 says, "But whoever listens to Me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.”  Turn to God.

(Exodus23:2)  "You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice."

Blessings to all who turn to our Lord to do our world good,
