Don't Starve Yourself

Psalms 34:10-12

"The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?"

It is so sad to see what crack and meth have done to my generation, even my community.  Part of verse 10 says, "The young lions lack and suffer hunger."  I was not raised with bible beliefs or conduct.  But now that I've been raising myself with God's tutoring since 1995, I can say, many others also lack the nutrition our bible gives.  Drugs have torn my city, and most in it apart.  Families, churches, the rich and the poor, have been traumatized by the mental effects of these mind altering chemicals.  And only God can redeem us.  Children having children, mothers and fathers selling their children, for that one again ultimate high.  Heartbreaking.  Our young folks today have been devastated by many of our actions.  However, verse 10 goes on to say, "But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing."  We have lives that have already been ordained, before the beginning of this world.  God instructs us, that we must give up our earthly lives, ran by satan, and seek our ordained ones.  Verse 11-12 says, "Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?"  The enemy has blinded most of us, by the greed of money, cars, homes, and fleshly satisfaction.  Only by looking to Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Will we find true happiness and peace, that exalts Him.  Come to our Lord.  Pick up your bible and seek our worlds truth.  Don't starve yourself.

(1Timothy 6:6-10)  " Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

(Matthew 6:31-33)  "Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

Blessings to all who fill themselves up in God's love and righteousness,

Vincent Young, Christian Analyst.
