Inherit The Promise

Hebrews 10:32-36

"But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."

Verse 32 says, "But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:"  Our verse says, after we first read our bible from beginning to end, and were illuminated by its truth, what great sufferings we had, trying to set ourselves free from this world.  God says, we perish from lack of knowledge.  Untrained people in their bibles, can make our journey to God, unberable at times.  How hard it can become, when trying to come out from among them and free yourself to serve God.  The spectacles we must be, as we live our lives daily as sacrifices for God, loving others as we love ourselves.  Our world doesn't know it, but only love for God, His Son, and others, is what frees us.  God, has placed gifts inside of us, He has spoken peace and blessings over our futures.  One would have to be spiritually nutty, to not want to lock into that kind of inheritance.  Verse 34 says, " for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven.  However, we don't have to wait until we get to heaven to enjoy it, we can start now.  We can invest all we have right now, time, effort, and money, to unlock the mystery.  (Luke 12:32-34)  "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."  We have been told by Jesus Christ Himself, that He came to give life, and life more abundantly.  He also says, we can live forever, that should be worth investing in.  God tells us to have a thankful heart, filled with grace, for Him and others. The scriptures are true.  However, until God sees us working them sincerely and truly, true joy can't manifest it self.  Verse 35-36 says, "Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."  Inherit the promise.

(Matthew 5:5)  "Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth."

Blessings to all who will humbly seek their inheritance,
