Galatians 4:8-19
But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. 9 But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? 10 You observe days and months and seasons and years. 11 I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain.
12 Brethren, I urge you to become like me, for I became like you. You have not injured me at all. 13 You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first. 14 And my trial which was in my flesh you did not despise or reject, but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. 15 What then was the blessing you enjoyed? For I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes and given them to me. 16 Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?
17 They zealously court you, but for no good; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may be zealous for them. 18 But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always, and not only when I am present with you. 19 My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you,"
We must go to the roots of our problems and situations, then cut them off by the root. Father God has an entire different way of living on earth, than the churches, atheists, and worlds thanks it to be. First and foremost we must establish a true and loving relationship with God, loving others as we love ourselves. If this is not done, we first do not have an true relationship with our Father. Verse 9 says, "But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?" God decides on if He is going to come around us or not, not us. He tests our minds and our hearts, which will depend on how close He will draw near to us to make His omnipresence known. This means, we have to be administering an constant love to our brothers and sisters for God to delight upon and want to interact with us. (John14:23-24) "Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me." Words, it is our words and actions to one another God judges us for. He simply looks at us as one big family and judges our merits to each other on how He will bless or chastise us. It is written in our bibles on the conduct in which we His children are to be displaying to one another. God also has missions for us in His word, to jump start our lives and His church. He wants His lands back from satan and his army. He also, wants an church built that is exchanging holiness, love, graciousness and smiles. God must know that we are on His side and taking orders to bring His dream alive. The verse continues asking how is it that we turn to the weak and beggarly elements, in which we desire again to be in bondage? satan is cunning, baffling, and much wiser then we give him credit for. It saddens me to say, but we are walking in blindness. God wants praise, joy, happiness and faith in our hearts way before He lets us know who really runs this world, Him. Our Father is omnipotent, omnipresence, the great I Am and a jealous God. Do you know of any invisible people you get to hang out with each day? I can count none before God revealing His awesome presence, spite my ignorance at 16 years of age. Paul is telling our ancestors in verses 10-16, That they embraced him at first, but the more of God's word he shared with them, they were still not revealing it in their character and they became angered. The sword cuts through bone and marrow. We must lay down our sins at the throne of God and pick up our crosses. If we don't hurry to this revelation we will continue to complain, compare, and be angered by satan's motives, never to receive the ultimate blessing, God. Form Christ in you.
(Romans 12:2) "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
Blessings to all who transform into pureness and holiness,
