Trust In The Lord

Psalms 40:1-4

"I waited patiently for the Lord;
    he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
    out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
    and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
    a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
    and put their trust in him.
Blessed is the one
    who trusts in the Lord,
who does not look to the proud,
    to those who turn aside to false god's."

It's sad to say, that our patients has flown out the window, and we need to bring it back.  When I made a conscience decision to call on the Lord, I knew if I were ever going to have patients, it would have to start then.  I find it so strange how we can feel, that God is here at our beck and call.  He asks us, to give up our lives, so we can find it.  Our bible is an piece of literature designed to save our lives.  God says in, (Matthew 10:28) " Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell."  We are in a spiritual war, and our bible must be taken serious.  When I came crying to the Lord in 1995 because I had thought I was loosing my family, and I wanted them back.   I knew in my heart, it was going to require some work.  Only by my not giving up on God, and His word, is why He loved me away from people, who really never loved me.  I found myself in a pit.  Only my faith and love for God, others, and myself, was going to lead me out.  God says, we must love Him, and others, and He means that.  Crying, begging, and pleading for God's help, when the fruits of His Spirit are not working, makes our bible null and void.  I needed something rock solid in my life.  I needed someone I could depend on, Who would help me conquer some dreams.   God has done that.  He has also, put in me a dream He'd like manifested.  (Luke 16:10-11)  “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. 11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?  God is the Author and Finisher of our faith.  This means, we must humble before Him, and then watch our dreams come to life.  Wait patiently and trust in the Lord.

(Hebrews 2:1)  "We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?"

Bless us Lord as we put all our trust in You,
