Let Our Lord Be Magnified

Psalms 40:11-17

Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your loving kindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
12 For innumerable evils have surrounded me;
My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up;
They are more than the hairs of my head;
Therefore my heart fails me.
13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me;
O Lord, make haste to help me!
14 Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion
Who seek to destroy my life;
Let them be driven backward and brought to dishonor
Who wish me evil.
15 Let them be confounded because of their shame,
Who say to me, “Aha, aha!”
16 Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
Let such as love Your salvation say continually,
“The Lord be magnified!”
17 But I am poor and needy;
Yet the Lord thinks upon me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
Do not delay, O my God.

True sincere love can only come from our God.  You haven't been loved until you've tap into the love of God.  God's intentions for His children, is that we walk in love with each other.  He can then reveal His true power to us, by the love we show one another.  If God is love, and His Spirit reveals loving kindness, as verse 11 says, we ourselves must put on this spirit to draw Him near to us.  God says, How can we say we love Him, whom we haven't seen, but can't love our brothers and sisters who we do see each day.  It's time we really check our motives and actions, as we move about God's earth, because as verse 12 speaks, innumerable evils surrounded David, as well as us, and our iniquities have overtaken us, that we can't look up to the heavens, where God rules.  David goes on to say, his heart fails him.  We have more sicknesses out here today then we can count.  God has been pushed to the back burner, and we're out here letting satan take us on an dangerous ride.  God's fruits in (His Spirit) need to be operating in us to counter attack His enemy.  He tells us in His word, what spirits we are to be working, and what spirits we must kill, to stop dishonoring Him.  Chose whom we will serve God commands.  Verse 13 says, Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me!  God is the only one who can deliver us from this nightmare we're living.  Verse 14 says, Only He can bring these spirits to mutual confusion and drive them backwards.  We're not fighting against flesh and blood with our brothers and sisters, but demons in high places.  We are interacting today in poor and needy spirits, that need deliverance.  Let our Lord be magnified.

(Psalms 34:3)  "Oh magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together."

Blessings to You God as we magnify You in our works,

Vincent Young, Christian Analyst.
