"5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.
9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes."
(Malachi 1:6) "A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the Lord of hosts To you priests who despise My name.
Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your name?" (Malachi 3:7) "Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the Lord of hosts. “But you said,
‘In what way shall we return?" We must understand if our parents and grandparents, weren't serving our Lord diligently and correctly. Does not mean He's not here. It means, they chose to serve their flesh, and call their own shots. As they saw fit and not as God commanded. His word is good today and we can stand on it. If we'll begin to embrace this truth and act on it. We will witness His peace and blessings upon us. Generational curses must be broken, to engage in an healthy and loving relationship with God. Verse 5 says, "But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him." God sent His Son out of love for us. He now commands that we show our gratitude and love in return. We're on a love journey family. And God wants it coming from every part of our being. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10) "But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God." (Ephesians 4:11-13) "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;" Verse 6 says, "
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked." (1Corinthians 11:1) "Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ." Jesus Christ's blood runs through us, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We now have to gird our minds and strengthen our hearts to walk in love. (1Peter 1:13-21) "Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you
who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God." (1John 4:7-11) "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." Come to the light.
(John 8:12) "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
Blessings to all who walks in the light of this darkness,
