1 John 2:1-4
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
I'm having a very hard problem today, with people confessing the Word of God. However, doing all the things that are contrary to it. Believing their going to heaven. We are to be totally new creations. When the Word of God and His Hand gets a hold of us. Our minds, attitudes, and dispositions, are to be humble as pie and sweeter than juice. But believe me. I see the same things that go on in our world, as I do in the individual. This should not be. God's children are to lift each other up. While giving all praise to our Lord and Savior. Who should be leading us into all new dimensions. To go in and posses His lands back from the enemy. God says, we will know them by their fruits. (Galatians 5:22-24) "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." But are we crucifying our flesh with its passions and desires? Or are we seeking as the world seeks, or as God commands we seek? Verses 25-26 says of Galatians, " If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another." Would we not say are world is provoked? We've become so withdrawn within ourselves, with are own thinking and not God's. That we are killing one another spiritually. We're a family people. Made in the image of God. Though, we let these demons out here, tare us apart and away from each other. Verses 1-2 says, " If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another." We have to learn His Word. We must begin to confess our sins and repent. Then turn ourselves into children of God. (Proverbs 2:1-5) "My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God." Seek your treasure.
(Matthew 13:45) "“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it."
(Mark 10:29-30) "“Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life."
(Psalms 119:103) "How sweet are Your words to my taste,
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!"
Blessings to all who seek their treasures with God,
