Turn Up The Heat

1Corinthians 10:1-7


"Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, ² all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, ³ all ate the same spiritual food, ⁴ and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. ⁵ But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
⁶ Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. ⁷ And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”


If we truly want to see God's signs, wonders, and miracles.  We're going to have to train in His Word.  Come out from among our perishing world and study.  Our ancestors here in these verses, saw God's miraculous wonders.  However, still wanted to dance with the devil.  So God destroyed them.  In the same wilderness in which we live today.  He says, He's a jealous God.  The bible says, the spirit is willing, but our flesh is weak.  It is only by longing to want to have a true, sincere, loving, relationship with the Father and Son.  Will determine if They will manifest Themselves before us.  (John 14:23)  "Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the  Father who sent Me." 
  It is time we stop playing with God and each other.  And give up our lives to find them in God.  We do not have the authority to question God.  Or to debate with one another on if His word is true.  When we are not loving Him or each other sincerely.  The bible is to run our world.  And give us all wisdom and knowledge on how to live and enter into eternity.  Today, we are still partaking of the Lord's spiritual food and drink.  Sad to say, in vain.  We have a problem with just about everything and everybody.  So He commands, that we do not partake of it.  Verses 6-7 says, "Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.  And do not become idolaters
 as were some of them. As it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up
 to play.”  We do this same thing today.  One foot in the Kingdom, and one foot in hell.  (Revelations 3:13-16)  "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:  “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."  Turn up the heat.


(Leviticus 20:22)  "You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out."
