1 Corinthians 10:27-33
"If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience’ sake. 28 But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” do not eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience’ sake; for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.” 29 “Conscience,” I say, not your own, but that of the other. For why is my liberty judged by another man’s conscience? 30 But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food over which I give thanks?
31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."
God says, He didn't come to save the righteous, but the unrighteous. This means, we are to spread His Word from Skid Row, to Restaurant Row, Beverly Hills. And across our world. (Luke 15:4-7) "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance." God wants all His children Home in Eternity. However, we must first obtain His wisdom and knowledge, to complete our tasks. (Romans 12:1-2) "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be trans- formed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." It takes God's wisdom and knowledge to change our minds. Then we must have faith and belief. His ways will work over our earthly ways and thinking. When we renew our minds to our Lord's thinking, we gain advantage over the enemy, and his strategies and attacks. Then we have the power to appeal to our lost brothers and sisters minds. This for the sake of the gospel, and their consciences. Always believing, praying, and hoping. They will come out of darkness and repent. Verses 29-30 says, "For why is my liberty judged by another man’s conscience? But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food over which I give thanks? If you've been freed from the yokes and bondages that bound you. We now have an obligation, to help free others through the blood. Also, making sure we remain free. (Galatians 6:1) "Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted." (2 Timothy 3:14) " But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them." Let's free the people.
(James 1:25) "But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does."
(Galatians 5:13) "For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."
Blessings to all who set the captives free for our Lord,
