Are You Bearing Fruit

Joel 2:20-22

"But I will remove far from you the northern army,
And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land,
With his face toward the eastern sea
And his back toward the western sea;
His stench will come up,
And his foul odor will rise,
Because he has done monstrous things.”
21 Fear not, O land;
Be glad and rejoice,
For the Lord has done marvelous things!
22 Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field;
For the open pastures are springing up,
And the tree bears its fruit;
The fig tree and the vine yield their strength."

The things God wants to do, for His children who love Him.  He will go to Spiritual war for us, to get more praise and love from us.  Friends, families, and nations, He will turn.  That we may have true peace.  He wants our love and attention.  So we will know what true love is, when He gives it.  (Hebrews 4:1) says, " Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it."  Peace and rest is what God wants for our lives.  Our bodies and minds our weary today, from running from God.  The blood is our fuel.  We've been bought at a price and don't belong to ourselves.  Wonderful and precious temples we are.  Who need God's Love and affection.  He says, the battle is His.  And that we should wait on Him, before making our next spiritual attack.  We are to let patients have its perfect work.  That we might learn to love others, as we love ourselves.  Our inheritances are waiting on us.  But so many people, who have received lottery winnings and early inheritances.  Have squandered them away, by receiving them to soon.  Verse 21 says, " Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done
 marvelous things!"  Let God work and we just rejoice.  Then watch the heavens move and rain down blessings.  The enemy does not rule this earth.  God does.  If He be for us, who can come against us?  If we'll only believe that, and party and love like it's 2099.  We've conquered satan.  Verse 22 says, "Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength."  God says, for those who have the word, more knowledge will be given.  For those who have little word, even that will be taken and the things around us.  The Bible is our sword against the enemy.  A sword that we must learn to use correctly.  Because this involves our brothers and sisters. We must connect with God, through our spirits.  We are to bear fruit to please God.  That we might fight the enemy and receive our rewards.  Are you bearing fruit?

(Galatians 5:22-24)  "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires."

(Ephesians 5:8-11)  "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light  (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),   finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them."

Blessings to all who bear tremendous fruit for our Lord,

Vincent Young, Christian Analyst.
