"Even though Edom has said,
“We have been impoverished,
But we will return and build the desolate places,”
Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“They may build, but I will throw down;
They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness,
And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.
5 Your eyes shall see,
And you shall say,
‘The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel."
They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness,
And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.
5 Your eyes shall see,
And you shall say,
‘The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel."
I've watched my city go from high to low. As I witness us today, I see we have turned into some very selfish and self-righteous human beings. Darkness surrounds us terribly. The drug epidemic and earthquakes, have done some horrific things to our minds. Though, no one wants to deal with it. Or place the blame where it rightfully belongs, on satan. Hollywood has made enormous gain off this pain. And has not dealt financially to clean up this agony. So satan sits at the helm, destroying us more and more each day. God is not happy at all. With our state or nations conduct towards one another, as His children. Because sincere love plays no part in the matter. (1 Corinthians 13:1-3) "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing." However, now our city is trying to make a come back. But it's not by the hands of God. So the blueprints in our rebuilding, have not been lovingly blessed. Verse 4 says, "They may build, but I will throw down; They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness, And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever." We have a lot of hurt and pain in my city today. Done by untrained children of God. From those scary attacks laid upon us, brought on by sin. Thank God, everything is done for His glory. But how much longer will we go on hurting one another? By not being trained, through the Word of God, on how to love correctly? We have hurts, pains, and wounds. That need to be healed, by God's love. God must be apart of our healing and rebuilding process. That all things may run smoothly and favorably. (Psalms 127:1) "Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain." Many of us are living in vain today. And a change must come. We honor God with our mouths, but our hearts are far away. Verse 5 says, "Your eyes shall see, And you shall say, ‘The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel." Israel is not just God's favorite country. It is His love that goes beyond all borders. Love Him back.
(Deuteronomy 7:9-15) "Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them. “Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers. And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you. You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock. And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you."
