Persevere Like God

Malachi 1:9-10

"But now entreat God’s favor,
That He may be gracious to us.
While this is being done by your hands,
Will He accept you favorably?”
Says the Lord of hosts.
10 “Who is there even among you who would shut the doors,
So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain?
I have no pleasure in you,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“Nor will I accept an offering from your hands."

God is not whom we make Him out to be.  He is a Lover and Warrior, and does whatever He pleases.  But, we can't blame Him, because we do the same.  Like Father, like son.  However, we must pay the consequences for our acts.  God's pleasure is to please us, and give us our hearts desires.  As long as they are within the guidelines of His will.  Verse 9 says, But now entreat God's favor, that He maybe gracious to us.  Just as we don't want addicts, losers, thieves, and prostitutes around us.  God, also has a standard and criteria we are to meet.  This gaining us favor and status, in heaven and here on earth.  God's Word is good yesterday, today, and forever.  He is our Father and we are His children.  So what is wrong with our world today?  Verse 10 says, "Who is there even among you who would shut the doors, So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain? I have no pleasure in you,”
Says the Lord of hosts, "Nor will I accept an offering from your hands."  God is holy and righteous, and without blame.  How could we possibly believe, we can counsel Him?  Lay down laws in His earth?  That keeps us apart, as brothers and sisters?  (Philippians 4:9) says, " The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you."  Our  Father stands for peace.  However, the only way we can give each other this peace.  Is to do as the verse said, learn, receive, listen and do.   He asks, that we don't forget the stranger's and glory in one another's Godly achievements.  But this can't be done.  When we're on self-seeking missions, not putting God first in all we do.  So we can't give grace and mercy to the next man.  When we're not appreciating it, in our daily breathes from God.  God's commandments, slows life down, get's us in touch with His firmaments.  And our worlds develop -ment or decline.  This is Father God's universe and He runs it.  Not us.  (Romans 8:19-21) says, "For the earnest expectation of the (creation) eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was (subjected to futility), not willingly, but because of (Him) who subjected it in (hope); because the creation itself also will be
delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."   (Romans 8:24-25)  " For hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance."  Persevere Like God.

(Psalms 33:18)  "Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy."

(Romans 8:15-17)  "For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together."

Blessings to all who stand and persevere in our Lord,
