Will We Obey

Malachi 1:14

“But cursed be the deceiver
Who has in his flock a male,
And takes a vow,
But sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished—
For I am a great King,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“And My name is to be feared among the nations."

Curses and blessings our Lord has placed before us.  Looking at our world today.  I would say we see more curses, then blessings walking in our midst.  (Hebrews 13:7-8) says, "Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
We have to understand, our bible is to run our world.  This being our leaders, heads of states, pastors, employers on down.  All are to be learning and building off the Word of God.  However, since this is not happening, our world moves in chaos.  Because, no one is binding their bible to their hands, or putting it as frontlets before their eyes.  Talking about our God, in the morning, noon, and night.  That all may go well in our lives and in our world.  Faith plays no part in the Word of God today.  Yes, we honor Him with our mouths, but our hearts are far away.  Then when all hell breaks loose.  We call on the Almighty, Who looks at us, as if we've gone bonkers.  (Proverbs 15:3)  "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good." Verse 15:4 says, "A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit."  So we're tearing down our own lives and others.  By not being properly trained in the Word of God.  Learning how to break curses and receive blessings.  We can't build each other or our world, if we perish for lack of knowledge.  (Proverbs 15:5) says, "A fool despises his father’s instruction, But he who receives correction is prudent."  The God of our universe has spoken to His children.  When will we obey?

(Ephesians 6:1-9)  "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right   “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”
And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him."
(Genesis 22:18)  " In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

Blessings to all who serve and obey,

Vincent Young, Christian Analyst.
