We Are Family

           `
Ephesians 6

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eye service, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

We again have to understand that our Bible was written for our whole world.  A book that was to be read, embraced, and then executed to keep God happy and satan in a mind of confusion.  We are God’s children in God’s kingdom and the commandment is to move about it in the spirit of love for all.  This goes for the billionaires, millionaires, middle class, and poor.  We are to talk about our plans, goals, and missions to one another in the context and protocol of God’s scripture.  The big companies and conglomerates are to build their industries off the foundation of the Bible, so God will receive His due credit.  This is also so our hearts and minds will stay at rest, in peace and with love, no matter how hard satan may try to come against it. Then we are to share our testimonies and how God launched them into success.  God says we are to talk about Him in the morning, noon, and night, enjoying one another and our journeys as God has blessed us with them.  We are to be accountable to each other as iron sharpens iron to keep ourselves on track,  and reaching for the upward call of Heaven.  Our Bibles are here to teach us love, peace, and contentment so our hearts will stay in a place of joy.  Come together world, we are family.

Blessings to our world as we unite,

Set Yourself Free

1 John 2

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginningAgain, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.12 I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.13 I write to you, fathers Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father. 14 I have written to you, fathers Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you And you have overcome the wicked one.
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also
24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.
26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

We must come to our Lord and know He is upon His throne today waiting for our Father God to make His enemies His footstool.  God says, before it is all said and done every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.  When you embark upon this journey to our Lord you must believe He is reigning upon the throne this day and will do everything in His power to see you through.  But He says without faith it is impossible to please Him.  We can either walk around in darkness never seeing the light, or we can walk around this darkness and have Father God reveal His wonderful light.  He says draw near to me and I will draw near to you.  If you have not yet been convinced of this by the sun and the moon He raises each day, or the rain and snow He shuts off so that we don’t get drowned out, along with so many other beautiful things He does with His earth then we make Him a liar.  Freedom comes in believing.  Our Lord walked a mission for 33 years without ever selling Father God out.  So if we would only convince ourselves that we want sincere truth, love, and holy joy in our lives we can do it too.  Our Bible was written for everyone who entered this earth to be able to learn how to please God and outsmart the devil at the same time.  But if not trained in love and love for God, His Son, and man, we will stumble in darkness towards an eternal nonexistence.  We do not have to be deceived or deceive ourselves.  Come to the Father and let the truth set you free.

Be blessed in the truth of His word,

Faith In Righteosness

Psalms 11

In the Lord I put my trust;
How can you say to my soul,
“Flee as a bird to your mountain”?
For look! The wicked bend their bow,
They make ready their arrow on the string,
That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.
If the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?
The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord’s throne is in heaven;
His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men.
The Lord tests the righteous,
But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.
Upon the wicked He will rain coals;
Fire and brimstone and a burning wind
Shall be the portion of their cup.

For the Lord is righteous,
He loves righteousness;
His countenance beholds the upright.

God says He has released His children among snakes, scorpions, and vipers, demonic spirits all around us speaking lies, threats, and violence into our spirits.  So He asks us to choose whom we will serve, either Him or Satan and his posse.  When we are not reading our Bibles and searching out God’s mission for our lives, we are open to demonic attacks on our minds and spirits, giving Satan authority to dismantle God’s plan for our lives. Then we begin to do all the things that God asks us not to do and wonder why we’re not being blessed.  For example, comparing ourselves among ourselves, opening up ourselves to pride, arrogance, and ego, which God hates.  Then our words change and our actions upon our brothers, sisters, and family change, leaving all hell to break loose.  God asks us to not to interfere with His work. If we're not going to help our brothers and sisters seek true freedom in our Lord then we are to step back and keep our opinions to ourselves, if they are not Biblically aligned to assist.  Relationships and families are being destroyed today because of selfish, self-righteous thoughts we have, and have placed upon one another.  So, until we clean up our minds, actions, and spirits to the righteousness of God we will continue to see unrighteousness everywhere we go.  Let your faith guide you into righteousness and be blessed by God.

Bless faith in righteousness forever to all,

Tame That Tongue

James 3

The Untamable Tongue

3 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.
See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

 I grew up with a mother who had an unruly tongue.  And though it was entertaining at times, it was also vicious and condemning to me and others.  I had even learned a few tricks from her to stand people back when I found myself in awkward situations after entering the state penitentiary.  But, overall foul language bothered me.  My father didn’t use it, and neither did any of my friends or associates.  So it became easy to reprogram myself and not use verbal abuse against others.   My mother knocked on my bedroom door at age 17 and told me we were broke. Thinking my mother would never lie to me in spite of her lies to others, I believed her.  That lie cost me 18 years of jails, prisons, and institutions, a drug habit, fights, and mental, verbal, and physical abuse, along with the loss of her and my entire family.  Hell had control of my mother in an overwhelming way, and it hurt me to see her live out her 78 years in a lonely, destitute, and deteriorating manner.  At any time she could have given herself to our Lord.  Our tongues were designed to edify God, man, and His earth.  We are here to speak blessings to one another and bring peace upon ourselves and others lives.  But if we continue to speak, lie, and distort reality we’ll soon begin to believe it.  God says call those things that aren’t as though they are.  If you’re continuing to call a lie the truth, and the truth a lie, you will soon reap what you sow.  Tame that tongue and let it bless you with truth and peace all around.

Bless our tongues with righteousness,

Begin Knowledge

Proverbs 1:7-33

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
My son, hear the instruction of your father,
And do not forsake the law of your mother;
For they will be a graceful ornament on your head,
And chains about your neck.

10 My son, if sinners entice you,
Do not consent.
11 If they say, “Come with us,
Let us lie in wait to shed blood;
Let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause;
12 Let us swallow them alive like Sheol,
And whole, like those who go down to the Pit;
13 We shall find all kinds of precious possessions,
We shall fill our houses with spoil;
14 Cast in your lot among us,
Let us all have one purse”—
15 My son, do not walk in the way with them,
Keep your foot from their path;
16 For their feet run to evil,
And they make haste to shed blood.
17 Surely, in vain the net is spread
In the sight of any bird;
18 But they lie in wait for their own blood,
They lurk secretly for their own lives.
19 So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain;
It takes away the life of its owners.
20 Wisdom calls aloud outside;
She raises her voice in the open squares.
21 She cries out in the chief concourses,
At the openings of the gates in the city
She speaks her words:
22 “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity?
For scorners delight in their scorning,
And fools hate knowledge.
23 Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
24 Because I have called and you refused,

I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
25 Because you disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
27 When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
28 “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
29 Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord,
30 They would have none of my counsel
And despised my every rebuke.
31 Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way,
And be filled to the full with their own fancies.
32 For the turning away of the simple will slay them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

True sound wisdom can only come from our Bibles.  It will expose man’s deeds and actions.  God says I will make the simple wise.  But we have to admit to ourselves we are simple in the ways of God.  God runs our world no matter how we may feel He doesn’t.  He also tells us our ways are not His ways, nor are our thoughts His thoughts.  God is fighting a war against Satan, a spiritual war that has His children bound and under the influence of darkness.  No matter how bright our smiles, or how large our bank accounts, darkness is all around us.   If we are not building our lives and empires on the word of God, speaking His name everywhere we go, we are living a lie and deceiving ourselves.  Psalms 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house they build in vain.”  God states that our world’s wisdom is foolishness to Him.  He asks us to not be worried about what we are going to wear or eat, but receive His word, wisdom, and knowledge, and all these things shall be added to us.  God blew His breath into us royalty, so He knows our desires and wants.  However, He has desires and wants also, so one hand washes the other.  Adam and Eve set us up for spiritual death, and Father God is executing vengeance on that ordeal with or without us.  Exodus 20:4-6 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image - any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth, you shall not bow down to them or serve them.  For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love me and keep my commandments.”  We are designing and building images in mass production making them our place of rest in all industries, and God’s name is not on the letterheads or marquees.  The beginning of knowledge must start now.

Blessings to all who seek knowledge in our God,

Suffer Good Stewards

1 Peter 4

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now
“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

We can’t get out of this, we will either suffer willingly or suffer in disgust wondering why.  God sent His Son down to suffer a walk that would free us from spiritual death.  He also gave us His children as gifts to our parents.  However, they being untrained in sincere love and sincere love for God, some of us were made to suffer for their shortcomings.  God needs us to feel some of the points and pressures our Lord felt as He walked to the cross. The word is to cut through bone and marrow as we walk daily into holiness.  God has a will for our lives as He did His Son’s, and it is up to us to jump in line to perform it.  We must train and humble ourselves to love Him, His Son, and each other, no matter how difficult it may look.  We are to cultivate the fruits of the spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, counting all our trials as joy, to receive our earthly and heavenly reward.  We must not be unequally yoked, spreading these pearls among the swine.  We should be praying and gaining wisdom and insight to the spiritual things that are happening around us watching and proving our faith so it’s not in vain.  God is the shot caller, ruler of heaven and earth.  He goes on to say His worst day will beat our best.  No matter how many Bentleys, Louis Vuittons, and Tiffany diamonds we may have.  He’s here to give us more since He states all things belong to Him.  We are to take on the mind of Christ, then train it.  Paul said he knew how to be abased, and how to abound through the sufferings and blessings of our Lord.  Suffer for His namesake, then suffer no more.

Blessings to all who suffer for the name of Jesus Christ,

Salvation

 Hebrews 2

Do Not Neglect Salvation

2 Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. But one testified in a certain place, saying:
“What is man that You are mindful of him,
Or the son of man that You take care of him?
You have made him a little lower than the angels;
You have crowned him with glory and honor,
And set him over the works of Your hands.
You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”

For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying:
“I will declare Your name to My brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.”

13 And again:
“I will put My trust in Him.”
And again:
“Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

There is scripture in our Bible that asks us to do as they say but not as they do.  God states He has given all His children who we are His Holy Spirit.  Now it is up to us to believe Him at His word, receive it in faith, and manifest it before our eyes.  You must earnestly want these blessings in the Bible and work for them.  The church is broken, and has been for thousands of years because we continue to keep one foot in our world and one in the kingdom of God.  God states, I would rather you hot or cold because lukewarm I will vomit you out of my mouth.  He stated in 1 Timothy 1:5-7 “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart a good conscience and a sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.”  We must work out our salvation with fear and trembling to obtain true life on earth and spend it in eternity with Father God.  I believe what our Lord says about giving us all His Holy Spirit because I watched it come down on me at age 16.  And though I changed my words I didn’t change my actions toward God until I made a conscious decision to do so 15 years later.  Faith without works is dead.  I’ve seen God’s signs, wonders, and miracles many times and that keeps me moving forward no matter how much I might suffer for His glory.  He’s here, He’s reigning, and He loves us dearly.  Love Him back and receive your salvation.

God bless, salvation to you all,
