Meditate

Philippians 4: 1-9

Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.
I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Verse 1 says, “Therefore, my beloved and longed for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.”  This is honest pure love being extended to all.  Hope, joy and happiness in this gift from God.  All of God’s children, who we are, are to delight ourselves in it, and exchange it with one another until Jesus comes.  Our blessings can only fall and manifest when the heart is focused on God and love for the next man.  We must build a pure, loving, sincere heart, ready to go through this spiritual war zone into God’s loving arms.  We must practice using the armor of God in our daily lives.  Because if we're not walking in the same mind, in all accord with one another and in our Lord, we are going to have a fight on our hands to receive God’s gift.  This is why we see so much discord now.  We must rejoice each day; smile each day; and show love in all situations God and satan are sending our way to show ourselves approved.  We do this to receive the blessings and crown.  A gentle heart and loving words are to take us across this battle field in a peace that surpasses all understanding.  Prayers, supplication, and thanksgiving are to pierce the heavens to have all our desires met.  We are in a fight with satan, who is trying to keep us from all blessings and eternity.  So we must gird our minds in loveliness, pure thoughts, and meditate on these things that they begin to flow from our mouths, calling things that aren’t as though they are.  God has a wonderful life already ordained for us.  Meditate children of God.

Bless the meditations of our minds, May they be fixed on our Lord.
