Be Wise

Psalms 2

Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”
“I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”
10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
12  Kiss the Son, lest  He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Generation after generation our world will only get worse if we keep on believing we can figure out our turmoil in the natural.  We pass thoughts and theories to each generation of children with no biblical roots and only leave them in dismay when they believe their thought was the next solution to change or peace.  Our only solution is God.  We can’t keep warring and fighting one another when God says we’re all His children.  So He must chastise us by our behavior, leaving us wondering, ‘why me?’  Our world is looking for peace, and coming up with all kinds of outlandish ways to achieve it.  God is the one who orchestrates peace in His kingdom.  So if we’re not looking to receive it from Him, our world will only continue spinning its wheels in hope of another man made solution.  God tells us in Jeremiah whoever puts their trust in man is cursed.  So think of how much trust we have put in man and how much trust we have put in God and ask ourselves why our world looks the way it does today.  God wants to see joy in our hearts and love in our actions for what Jesus Christ has done for us, Read Deuteronomy 28:47-48.  The signs are all around us, we are not to make money, jobs, cars, businesses, people or any other thing our Gods.  Nothing is to take our hearts and minds away from God and His Son.  The king has risen and is sitting at the right hand of God until He makes all His enemies His footstool.  Live, breath, love, and walk in the truth.  1 Corinthians 15: 58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”  Be wise.

Blessings to all as we let wisdom from God brings us peace,

Vincent Young, Christian Analyst.
