The Mystery

Mark 4: 10-20

 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. 11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, 12 so that
‘Seeing they may see and not perceive,
And hearing they may hear and not understand;
Lest they should turn,
And their sins be forgiven them.’”
13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14 The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

If we haven’t recognized by now, we should have.  We that are in this world, could not have been ordained to this earth to live in misery.  We could not have been little children, most of us growing up in joy and peace, then it all just dwindled away by someone’s or our mistake.  The mystery to our world is locked in our bible and to unlock it we have to want to turn from our selfish ways, come with a willing heart of faith, then sit down and believe every word it says, and do them.  We were to be trained in our bibles as innocent children and remain innocent in the word of God as it grew us up into mature adults in strength to conquer God’s mission and bless us.  We are to always approach Father God as His child.  Mark 10:15 explains, “ Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.”  Children are innocent and simple, making them easy to train.  Psalms 19: 7 “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;”  We cannot become too wise for our own good, it only separates us from God’s goodness and we are in His kingdom, not our own.  He goes on to say in verses 8 – 11 what can happen when we’ve unlocked the mystery to this kingdom and God’s heart:
“The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.”
There is an inheritance waiting on us, but until we open up our eyes and hearts to God and His word, we will keep on fighting the wind in hopes of a better life.  Sowing and reaping is all God wants us to do, in everything we say and do, so He can bless us.  I always believed God was here, and I believed He didn’t want me sad and miserable by the mistakes I was watching my family, friends, and the world make.  I did three more terms in prison because I was putting more faith in the people around me to push me into my destiny, instead of God.  God says if I be for you, who can come against you.  In 2005 on my way back to prison for the fourth time after giving myself to our God in 1995, I found a book in the prison chapel called Faith to faith by Ken and Gloria Copeland and knew that was what I needed, more faith in Father God to produce, because man was only producing pain in my life.  Jeremiah 17: 5 states, “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.”   I’ve unlocked the mystery to God’s heart and kingdom and it is love.  Love for Him and His children, and our world.   You also can plant love for the word of God and solve the mystery.

Psalms 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Blessings all as your faith and love unlock the Kingdom of God,
