Psalms 49
Hear this, all peoples;
Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,
2 Both low and high,
Rich and poor together.
3 My mouth shall speak wisdom,
And the meditation of my heart shall give understanding.
4 I will incline my ear to a proverb;
I will disclose my dark saying on the harp.
Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,
2 Both low and high,
Rich and poor together.
3 My mouth shall speak wisdom,
And the meditation of my heart shall give understanding.
4 I will incline my ear to a proverb;
I will disclose my dark saying on the harp.
5 Why should I fear in the days of evil,
When the iniquity at my heels surrounds me?
6 Those who trust in their wealth
And boast in the multitude of their riches,
7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
Nor give to God a ransom for him—
8 For the redemption of their souls is costly,
And it shall cease forever—
9 That he should continue to live eternally,
And not see the Pit.

10 For he sees wise men die;
Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish,
And leave their wealth to others.
11 Their inner thought is that their houses will last forever,
Their dwelling places to all generations;
They call their lands after their own names.
12 Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain;
He is like the beasts that perish.
Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish,
And leave their wealth to others.

13 This is the way of those who are foolish,
And of their posterity who approve their sayings. Selah
14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave;
Death shall feed on them;
The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning;
And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.
15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave,
For He shall receive me. Selah

16 Do not be afraid when one becomes
rich,
When the glory of his house is increased;
17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away;
His glory shall not descend after him.
18 Though while he lives he blesses himself
(For men will praise you when you do well for yourself),
19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers;
They shall never see light.
20 A man who is in honor, yet does not understand,
Is like the beasts that perish.

I can only
tell you rich man poor man that our God lives and breathes today. He wishes that none should perish but all
have everlasting life. Our bible is not
some fairy tale though it is a dream come true.
But you will never unlock this mystery to paradise until you turn from
our worlds thinking and step into the light.
I grew up around middle and upper class people and my mother and I lived
extravagantly. But the bible played no
part in our life, in spite of how good people thought she and I were, by the
material assets we surrounded ourselves with. I watched my mother’s pride in herself make a
mockery of the bible and our lives with what little common sense she had but I
still loved her. Her actions sent me
down roads I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
Then at 31 years of age I had enough and asked the Lord into my life and
to please give me my comfort and peace back. And I would love Him and honor Him for the
rest of my life. People, only true love
for God and wanting to please Him instead of ourselves will unlock the
treasures, peace, health, and blessings into our lives. This is unordinary supernatural powers we are
dealing with here. So God tells us in
His word our best day can’t beat His worst.
No money, power, crying or praying that is not sincere will bring us
this blessing today and life everlasting in Eternity. Only true, rock solid, unending love for God
and His son will open the heavens and rain down the blessings into our
lives. Hebrews 10: 26-31 says “For
if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no
longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful
expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the
adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without
mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of
how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has
trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which
he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For
we know Him who said, “Vengeance is
Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And
again, “The Lord
will judge His people.” 31 It
is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 12: 25-29) “See that you do not refuse Him who
speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much
more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from
heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has
promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27 Now
this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being
shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may
remain. 28 Therefore,
since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by
which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For
our God is a consuming fire.” God
says those who will humble themselves He will exalt, but those who exalt
themselves He must humble. (Proverbs
16:18) Pride goes before destruction,
and a haughty spirit before a fall. Don’t
let your pride kill you.
Blessings to
all as we lay down our pride and love the King,
