1 Timothy 2
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; 9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.
God asks our world to be in one mind, one spirit and one faith in the name of Jesus Christ. Our world is to be praying to Him and thanking Him for saving us from hell. We are to be at peace within ourselves and with each other. God says that's what pleases Him. There is only one creator of our world and everyone is seeking a God while they are becoming more heartless, aging, miserable, and controlling, then settling for these fruits. We should be walking in bliss each day if we would call out to the true God and humble ourselves believing He is here. We are using our own thoughts and working those thoughts out in our own manner using our God given looks as a weapon to get what we want and not what God desires. Our bodies are our "temples," and are to be used for edifying God. Our women are taking the bull by the horns and exercising capabilities that we men are supposed to be implementing for God and with our families. The scriptures state that God is over Christ, Christ is over man, and man is over woman. But we men have sold our birthrights for a piece of the American pie and have become confused, distraught, even mentally disoriented by the outcome. Giving our women no choice but to provide for themselves happiness at whatever price selling their souls to the enemy. We've been bought at a price and God says we do not belong to ourselves, but to Him, who is to form us into holy vessels. Faith, love, holiness and self control must rise up in us. We must denounce our worldly thoughts and actions believing God has a purpose for our lives. Everything was offered to Jesus,
kingdoms, wives, money, drugs, and so on, and He didn't sell God out. He knows our fight. (Hebrews 2:16) "For indeed He does not give aid to Angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted." We have fallen, but we can get up.
Blessings to all as we get up to serve our Lord,
