"We should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."
Verses 14-15 says, "That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love." I can only say and that is, I've witnessed a lot of distorting of the truth in many churches and in our society. The word of God and its cause, is for everyone to be in love with God, each other, and set out on His mission to conquer it in all entities. The bible Is our manual to learn how to extend true love to God, each other, and all that God has created and is still creating. He is the Glory, Majesty, and Ruler of our world, and intends on being treated as though. If we are not working the fruits of God's Spirit, we are living in vain, deceiving ourselves and everyone around us. God does not represent deception. (Jeremiah 17:9-10) "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings." This maybe why we see so much stagnation in our lives, churches, and world. Our hearts and minds are not on the task at hand, God. God says, our mouths honor Him, but our hearts are far away. He tells us in His word, how we ought to be operating each day and what the end results will be. However, If He does not see in us what He commands to be practice daily, He cannot administer the blessings we so desire. (Romans 13:8-10) " Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." The only way this type of love can be displayed, is when we take our eyes off of man, and direct them to God. When this is done, God can teach us how to love Him, our heavenly family and each other. (John 15:5-6) "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned." I watch this literally happen to my mother, and watch so many more of us dying off daily, leaving no legacy, only heartbreak to our families. Love has to come into our atmosphere, if we want God to turn things around in our lives and world. Verse 16 says, every fiber in our being should be extending love to God and each other. Build yourself in love.
(1Corinthians 13:4-7) " Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Blessings to all who train themselves in God's love'
