Live Life

Romans 6:20-23

"For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

When our ancestors here in the bible became aware of what pleased God, they became ashamed of their past acts.  Again, we have a God to please and no matter how weak the flesh is, our minds are more powerful.  Whatever the mind says the body will follow, as long as we believe we're serving a living God.  God will not come down and do anything, that He knows the powerful blood can do that runs through us.  (Romans 10:6-8)  "But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach)."  (Galatians 6:7-9)  "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."  It's a lot at stake here, peace on earth and life everlasting.  God says in Revelations 21, there will be no cowards in heaven etc.  We must pick up our crosses and bear the enemy's adversity, to show ourselves approved to God.  Everyday we are to be striving for excellence, baring fruits that lead to holiness and righteousness.  (Romans 8:1-6)  "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."  Slaves of God seek peace and live life.

(Psalms 35:27 Amplified)  "Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in My uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants."

Blessings to all who live life for Our Lord,
