Win The Race

Genesis 33:13-14

"But Jacob said to him, “My lord knows that the children are weak, and the flocks and herds which are nursing are with me. And if the men should drive them hard one day, all the flock will die. 14 Please let my lord go on ahead before his servant. I will lead on slowly at a pace which the livestock that go before me, and the children, are able to endure, until I come to my lord in Seir.”

When God put Adam and Eve out of the garden in Genesis 3:17-19 because they had eaten from the tree in which He commanded them no too.  He said, toil and sweat would be upon us in search of food, until we returned to the ground.  However, in other scripture, God says, unless we eat from the tree of life, we will die in our sins.  He is that tree of life and without Him we can do nothing.  Brothers and sisters over centuries have built businesses, corporations, and employment services, and have built them off their own knowledge and not God's.  These establishments really built by satan, will work you into an early grave.  Until we begin to take God at His word, we will continue to go round and round with our jobs, bosses, and each other, til all humbles themselves before the throne of God.  (Matthew 11:28-30)  " Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”  Jesus did an spectacular deed when He died for us and took the keys from satan.  It is now up to us to draw near to God with love and receive our inheritance, and a piece of mind.  We cannot fight the devil in our own finite mind and strength.  (Genesis 3:1)  God says, He made satan more cunning than any beast of the field.  We cannot believe we have a chance against him on our own and without our Lord.  Also understand, satan has had more time on this earth to improve his game than we.  (Ecclesiastes 9:11)  "I returned and saw under the sun that—The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all. 12 For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare,
So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them."  God gives us chance after chance each day to come to Him, that we might win this race to eternal life.  (Hebrews 12:1-2)  "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."  Win the race.

(Luke 9:62)  " But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Blessings to all who wins this race in Jesus name,
