Embrace The Promise

2 Timothy 1-10

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
To Timothy, a beloved son:
Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel."

Verse 1 says, " Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, for the sake of life that is in Christ Jesus."  We have been given a promise to have life if we live and praise Jesus Christ.  God is our breath and life, and without Him we can do nothing.  He has given us a promise to have life and life more abundantly.  Grace, mercy, and peace from God is here if we will obey His sound doctrine.  This is the only way to stop the sicknesses, diseases, and uncertain fears that might happen next.  God speaks of everything we will encounter each day in His word.  He also, tells us how to circumvent our problems and come out blessed every time.  (Galatians 6:9) "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."  Our world has an protocol for living and hoping life is fulfilled in joy.  God also, has an protocol for life to prove our world's assumptions right, but we are in the world, not of it.  Our faith can only be built and established by taking on the mind of Christ, He even asks us to do this.  God ordained us before the beginning of the world, to be blessed and highly favored in His eyes.  He has placed in us gifts to take us into our destiny's that will confound satan.  We have an immortal Father, that whatever He speaks will come into existence.  By lining our minds, hearts, and gifts up to His power, we are also able to call those things that do not exist as though they do.  However, God is watching our every move and thought, to be sure it lines up with His love to either bless it, or curse it.  Verses 7-8 says, we are to discipline ourselves in this power and blessing.  We are to not be ashamed of walking it and talking it, before the people of the world.  God says, talk about Him in the morning, noon, and night. Meditate on His word to prove Him right, and our world wrong. Embrace the promise.

(Proverbs 10:21)  "The lips of the righteous nourish many."

Blessings to all who embrace all God's promises,
