Lets Examine Ourselves

1 Corinthians 11:28-32

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Our Lord Jesus Christ died for our world.  He gave His life, His blood, the blood which runs through our veins, and His body, to save us from a spiritual death.  It is now up to us to admit to ourselves, that our brother, our Lord, our King, is our God.  Then we must humble before His awesome throne that sits high above in the heavens, until God makes His enemies His footstool.  This story and its truth should overload us with joy, that happiness rules our lives until He comes for us.  However, if we don't begin to examine ourselves to God's word and protocol for living, verse 30 says, "For this reason many are weak and sick among us, and many sleep."  God will not be mocked, whatever a man sows, that he will reap.  We are comparing ourselves among ourselves, and not to the principles and commands of our bibles to outwit God's enemy, satan.  satan is cunning, baffling, and much wiser then we are.  he knows every trick in the book to keep us off course and from experiencing God's true love, our God who is all mighty and all powerful.  We're fighting against powers and principalities in high places to keep us from God, and to continue in darkness.  God tests are minds and examines our hearts to see who's side we're on, and to bless us accordingly to our deeds.  Our world is walking in separation with one another and we're all God's children.  satan is that separation, who has coned us into believing we are fine if we gain material wealth.  (Luke 18:24-28)  “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?”
27 But He said, “The things which are (impossible) with men are possible with God.”
28 Then Peter said, “See, we have left all and followed You.”  (Matthew 10:38-39) "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it."  We must give up our lives, to find the life God has already ordained for us and follow.  So the war continues between God and satan.  The blood must be drank in delight and the bread eaten with love.  And all our problems, issues, even our disagreements with our world must be taken to our God.  Lets examine ourselves.

(Psalms 40:17)  "You are my help and my deliverer."

Blessings to all as we examine ourselves to God's approval,
