Daniel 6:1-5
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom one hundred and twenty satraps, to be over the whole kingdom; 2 and over these, three governors, of whom Daniel was one, that the satraps might give account to them, so that the king would suffer no loss. 3 Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm. 4 So the governors and satraps sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful; nor was there any error or fault found in him. 5 Then these men said, “We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”
It's so sad to see that almost since the beginning of time, we have yet to come together in the name of Jesus Christ. These leaders and dignitaries running their system under the authority of satan, I'm sure unbeknown to them. But then there was Daniel, locked and in tuned to the obedience of Christ. Our Holy Spirit resting upon him in excellence, the king even gave thought to setting him over the whole realm. If we will understand, it is God who gives us the power to get wealth, we would run our world in a lot more humility. We must enter this race in absolute faith, that God will do what he said He will do. He formed us with a hope to have peace and prosperity. This promise made by Him could happen a lot sooner if we would all come together through love. But as minds were working back then, our minds are operating today. Satan is wise, cunning, and baffling. How we could think he can't outthink us is astonishing. Eve walked with God, and the enemy outwitted her. Daniel was pure, honest and forthright. He was faithful to God in all God required of Him, so God exalted Him. God says, there are seasons that our spirits are to maintain, joy, love, happiness, and peace. There's a time to laugh, cry, embrace, and refrain. These leaders if they were Christians as God asks us to be would have found joy in Daniels promotion, celebrated, and cheered him on as God's plan played out for His life. But complaining and discomfort set in, greed and selfishness took over. All these spirits God asks us to denounce. Do all things without complaining God commands. If we'll begin to work the scriptures with joy, the truth will reveal itself. Put the excellent spirit of Christ on and watch the Holy Spirit go to work.
(Matthew 3:11) " I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."
\Blessings all as we give access to the Holy Spirit,
