We Must Stand On God

Psalms 89:8-18

O Lord God of hosts,
Who is mighty like You, O Lord?
Your faithfulness also surrounds You.
You rule the raging of the sea;
When its waves rise, You still them.
10 You have broken Rahab in pieces, as one who is slain;
You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.
11 The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours;
The world and all its fullness, You have founded them.
12 The north and the south, You have created them;
Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Your name.
13 You have a mighty arm;
Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand.
14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Mercy and truth go before Your face.
15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
16 In Your name they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
17 For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our horn is exalted.
18 For our shield belongs to the Lord,
And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

Who could ask for anything more?  God's faithfulness surrounds Him, verse 8 says.  He calms the raging of the seas and breaks down nations, who are not obedient to His commands.  Verse 10 says, God has scattered His enemies who can't adhere to His laws.  We here and see of chaos everywhere. Crime has flooded our nations and mental sickness is on every corner.  Who wouldn't want to run to God?  He rules our world and the bible states, there's no other God like Him.  He's our comforter and healer, a God who can make a way out of no way. The heavens are His and even our earth. He tells us in many ways through our bible, that without Him, we can do nothing.  The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, not even death can stop Him. He talks to every living creature that moves upon His earth, even the ones who won't talk back.  He's life sustaining, and full of love. He's righteous, and filled with justice, and asks, that we might become so too.  We must want better, want to talk better, envisioning our lives loving better, doing things better, as we see a better world materialize before our eyes.  Choose whom we will serve, God commands.  Truth and mercy God wants operating in our hearts for others today.  He's been asking for it, for thousands of years now, and He's still asking this day.  His word never changes, like our emotions and feelings do.  We must stand on the rock of salvation, and not wavier to and fro, believing we will have anything coming.  We must stand on God.

( Psalms 89:28) "My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall stand firm with him."

(Romans 12:12 amp:) "Rejoice and exult in hope, steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation, be constant in prayer."

Blessings to all who stand on the power of God,
