Talk Truth

Proverbs 22:17-21

Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise,
And apply your heart to my knowledge;
18 For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you;
Let them all be fixed upon your lips,
19 So that your trust may be in the Lord;
I have instructed you today, even you.
20 Have I not written to you excellent things
Of counsels and knowledge,
21 That I may make you know the certainty of the words of truth,
That you may answer words of truth
To those who send to you?

Apply our hearts to God's knowledge verse 17 says.  God can only write His words upon the tablet of our hearts, when we continue to stay in His word.  He asks, that we talk about Him in the morning, noon, and night.  That we mediate on His words and put them as signs on our doorpost.  As we can see today this is rarely being done.  Our conversations are on world events, problems in our homes, and delighting ourselves in fleshly desires.  satan is really doing an number on our world.  He has twisted us, confused us, and belittled us, in the sight of God.  Pureness, honesty, and sincere love has taken a back seat in our world today, the fight for power, control, and riches have become the norm.  Verses 18-19 says, It is a pleasant thing if we will keep God's words fixed upon our lips, so that our trust maybe in our Lord.  So we see why satan has gain the advantage over us.  We're not using our sword to fight the trials of life and come out the winner.  We find it hard to grace our lips with true words of kindness, to keep the enemy at bay.  (Romans 13:8 says,) "Owe no one anything but to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law."  This is what God commands to be operating in His world.  The enemy is full of anger and deceit, walking around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may destroy.  God says, He has released us among snakes, scorpions, and vipers.  These are the spirits that move around us and latch on to us, if were not equipped in the word of God.  We are in God's Kingdom, a Kingdom that is designed to bless us, no matter how hard the enemy comes against us.  However, if we don't draw near to God, so He can draw near to us, we will be defeated in all our man-made attempts to conquer peace.  Verses 20-21 says,  "Have I not written to you excellent things Of counsels and knowledge, 21 That I may make you know the certainty of the words of truth, That you may answer words of truth to those who send to you?"  Talk truth.
(John 4:23-24)  " But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Blessings to all as we talk truth to one another through God's word,
